AFRICA LINK
This year we have become part of the Link Community Development Programme. This is an educational supported programme which links schools in England with schools in Africa. Over the next two years we are developing a link with our partner Abatey Primary School in Bolgatanga, Ghana, Africa.
They Abatey Primary School is a popular primary school in the town of Bolgatanga, many of the pupils have to walk several miles each day to attend school. The school has no running water and so water has to be collected from a nearvy bore hole each day. Recently work has begun on new toilets for the school. They have a small amount of furniture, but most children have to work on the dusty floor and have few resources to use.
